She is a passionate leader, compassionate mentor, coach, and motivational speaker with various non-profit and community organizations. As a community leader and prophetic activist, Catina remains a strong advocate for social action, civic and political engagement, international awareness and engagement, education, advocacy, and young adult mentorship. Catina is proud to be a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a Silver Lifetime Member of the NAACP, and a Legacy Lifetime Member of the National Council of Negro Women. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Franklin Township Warrior Education Foundation which provides teachers in the Franklin Township public school district with financial grants to support innovative and inspiring programs for their students.

Since 2004, Catina Jackson accepted the calling on her life to preach the gospel to all nations and considers this calling to be a high honor with great responsibility. Reverend Jackson was ordained in the NJ Annual Conference of the First Episcopal District within the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church as a Local Deacon in April 2008 and then ordained as a Local Elder in March 2010. She completed her theological training in their five-year ordination process at the New Jersey AME Minister’s Institute in Trenton, New Jersey. She served as pulpit supply (an interim pastor role) at St. James AME Church in East Millstone (Somerset), New Jersey. Also, she served with her husband, Walter Jackson, as the Church School Superintendent in the local church and for the New Brunswick District, along with representation at the First Episcopal District.
Doctor Catina Jackson is a strong advocate for education. She has professional certifications in Training and Information Technology as well as degrees from Hampton University (B.A. in Communication), Seton Hall University (M.A.E. in Corporate Human Resources Training and Development), and Drew University (MDiv with a focus in Pastoral Care, Spiritual Formation, Clinical Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy). Reverend Doctor Catina Jackson completed her Doctor of Ministry degree in May 2023 from United Theological Seminary in Dayton Ohio. Her doctoral focus was Prophetic Activism: From the Cross to the Community at United Theological Seminary.
